HOW TO SET GOALS CORRECTLY
December is a month of summing up and setting goals!
If everything is clear with the first, then many questions arise about the second.
Why do we need goals and how to set them correctly?
Let’s figure it out together!
First, you need to figure out which format is more convenient for you to express your thoughts: notes, notebook, planner, etc.
Next, according to the SMART system, write down each goal:
Specific – describe the end result of your goal
Measurable – set the criteria by which you can evaluate the result.
Achievable – be realistic and become a goal that can really be achieved during this period.
Relevant – constantly ask yourself: “Why do I want this?”
Time—bound – define a specific date to achieve this goal.
The next step is to prioritize each goal. For this, there is the Eisenhower matrix.
Divide all goals into:
- Important and urgent.
- Important but not urgent.
- Not important, but urgent.
- Unimportant and non-urgent.
With these three steps, you will be able to clearly plan your entire next year!
