Due to its seating position, it will significantly decrease the compression load on the spine. It is assumed that the machine will be made predominantly of carbon. It will be powered by lithium-phosphate batteries.
The recumbent will be equipped with 20-inch wheels and have a recuperative electric brake. It will be slowed down by the same electric engine that drives the machine into motion. The bike has an ABS.
The pedal-electric drive implies the use of a torque sensor that connects to the electric engine when it becomes difficult for the cyclist to pedal (the effort threshold figure is indicated in the settings). The control is actually done “intuitively” by changing the inclination angle in the direction of rotation with the help of a servo-controller.
