UNIVERSAL ROBOTIC ASSISTANT

Universal Robotic Assistant for people with visual disabilities is a prototype of the robot-guide. The robot will help people with vision problems to freely overcome obstacles: steps, borders, pedestrian crossings. The model is assembled from Lego MINDSTORMS EV3, has a GPS sensor, and an Internet connection. Due to this, its owner can preliminarily make a route and move around the city without a cane or escort.

The project received a bronze medal at the International Competition of Computer Projects INFOMATRIX 2017, which was held in Bucharest.
